You’ve started to see it differently. The harder part is holding it.

If you’ve followed this series, you’ve already done a lot. You saw what kept repeating.
You started to bring it into order. And at some point, you decided. You saw it differently.

But seeing something clearly once isn’t the same as living from it.

And here’s where something familiar shows up. Usually, the first thought is: “I need to know more.” “Maybe one more book.” “Once I really understand it, then I’ll be ready.”

That’s understandable. But there’s a point where information isn’t the problem anymore.

I lived this for years. I kept thinking I was one fact short of finally being able to. I wasn’t. I didn’t need to know more. I needed to live what I already knew.

In psychology, this is called the intention-behavior gap — studied by researchers like Paschal Sheeran — the distance between what we decide to do and what we actually end up doing. It also connects to how language shapes the way we think — work by researchers like Lera Boroditsky, showing that the words we use to name something change the way we experience it.

In everyday life, it’s simpler. You don’t hold a new way of living by repeating the same old line about yourself.

If you keep telling yourself “I’m a mess with this,” it won’t matter how many books you read. The sentence sends you right back where you started.

What you know stays in your head. Taking up space. Like a piece of furniture that never found its place.

Integrating isn’t understanding one more idea. It’s when what you understood starts deciding for you — without you having to remind yourself.

And that isn’t held by more information. It’s held by the words you use about yourself, every day.

Because the way you name yourself doesn’t just describe your life. It builds it.

There’s a simple tool for this. Begin With I Am, the “I Am” ebook, is a first way to notice your inner dialogue and start to reorganize how you speak to yourself — not motivation, something you can actually use.

And if the way you name yourself builds your life, here’s the question worth sitting with: what words are you using?

I’m Saskia Fulco, and this space is for exactly that: to help you see clearly what you’re already feeling, bring order to it, and start deciding from a different place. No pressure. At your own pace.
