A structure can be perfectly designed and still feel empty.
What turns a space into a Home is what can happen inside it.
On October 15, we officially opened Saskia Fulco Consulting.
In the months leading up to that moment, we talked a lot about structure. Services. Roles. Documents. Design. Processes. What needed to come first and what could wait.
All of that matters.
But one week after opening, I want to return to the question underlying all those decisions: What is La Casa for?
We didn’t call it that to create a beautiful metaphor.
The word helped us organize a very concrete idea.
A house has structure, but it doesn’t exist for you to admire the structure.
It exists so that something can happen inside it.
There are different rooms because not every conversation requires the same thing.
Some people arrive with a personal decision that has been on their minds for a long time. Others are reorganizing a business. Some are trying to build something as a couple without asking the other person to see things exactly the same way. Others want to turn their experience and sensitivity into a professional way of supporting others.
Not everyone comes through the same door.
And they shouldn’t all leave as the same person, either.
That matters to us.
Supporting someone isn’t about producing similar versions of the people who come to us.
It’s about creating the conditions for someone to better recognize what they are seeing, what they are choosing, what responsibility belongs to them, and what kind of structure can support the decisions they make.
That’s why different perspectives coexist within the firm.
Identity. Relationships. Structure. Business. Decisions. Processes.
Not because everything needs to be mixed together, but because real life already comes that way.
A professional decision can affect a relationship. A decision as a couple can change a financial structure. A business idea can reveal that the problem wasn’t the plan, but the position from which someone was trying to sustain it.
La Casa exists so we can explore these conversations without reducing a person to just one part of their life.
And also so that everything doesn’t depend on a single voice.
We are building a firm. That means a team, a method, responsibility, and a structure that can grow without losing the human connection that gave it life.
That’s why opening our doors was important.
But opening wasn’t the ultimate goal.
It was the moment when La Casa could begin to fulfill its purpose.
My name is Saskia Fulco.
And if there’s a conversation you’d like to work through with us, consulting requests are now open.
You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out. The conversation can begin right there.
For today, one question:
What conversation in your life is asking for a different kind of space so you can truly explore it?
